LVN uses a combination of state-of-the-art automated transcription and high-quality human transcription to produce conversation transcripts that we're proud of. Even with these high standards for quality, you still might come across parts of the transcript you'd like to edit. Our new Transcript Editor tool makes that easy!
Entering edit mode
From your conversation, scroll to the Transcript tab. Toggle on the Editor tool.
Now you can browse the transcript and make edits along the way! Just like all LVN transcripts, this interface is interactive which allows you to listen to the source audio while you're editing. Click anywhere in the transcript, then click Play to listen to the audio.
Your edits will automatically sync. To be sure your edits are saving, look out for the confirmation message at the top of the transcript.
Speaker name changes
Click on a speaker name. In the pop-up box, type the name how you want it to appear on the transcript. To apply this change to one specific name, just press Enter on your keyboard. To apply this change to all to all instances of that name in the transcript, click the checkbox next to "Update all to" then press Enter.
Find & replace
Click Find & Replace to open the search window. In the Search box, type the text you want to find. Any instances of the found text will be highlighted in green. Type the replacement text in the Replace with... box. Click Replace to change one instance at a time, or click Replace All to change all instances throughout the transcript.
